Frankfinn For Boys- Know How to dress smart for work!

Frankfinn suggest you Key point for How to Dress Smart for work

Frankfinn Students knows How to dress smart for work

As the famous saying goes, first impressions last long. Your first impression is a mix of many things, from how you behave, how you conduct yourself, how you react to how you dress. And work is a place where you want your first impression to be impressive and positive.  It is widely said that what you wear to work is how you are perceived by your co-workers. Thus, it is very important to project an image that is professional, dynamic, confident and flattering.
It has been proved by various psychologists that wearing unflattering colours, ill-fitting clothes, or inappropriate styles to work can affect how you advance in your professional environment and job.
The image you want to project at work is simple, clean and cooperative and aware of others’ presence, thus never wear shabby, un-ironed clothes to work.
Wear formal clothes to work, keep the colours solid and not too fancy prints. Formal clothes do not ‘always’ mean that you have to be stuffed all day under uncomfortable clothes like suits, ties, etc.
The environment and atmosphere of every work place is different from the each other. Thus, try to fit into the tone of the formality/casualness of your workplace.
But in order to fit into the group, do not forget/forgo a little bit of your own style, because being uncomfortable is the last things you want, to shift your focus from work.
Wear clothes that fit you just right. To look too smart, you do not need to wear fitted clothes and to avoid being uncomfortable, never try too baggy and lose clothes.
Dressing does not only include clothes, the whole look you take to work completes your dressing. Thus keep in mind that good grooming is what completes your look. A well groomed person would be the one who,
Keeps their hair neat and reasonably done.
Do not necessarily wear a lot of make-up to look smart.
Have a smart posture, and not to sloppy and droopy at work.
Wear shoes that are clean, well fitted and do not make too much noise.
Do not make too much noise while walking; don’t drag their shoes or make a disturbing noise with their heels.

Tips For Effective Public Presentations

A presentation is an art of delivering knowledge and information to an audience who might or might not be interested in it. So the first and the most important step, is to gauge the audiences’ attention towards you, and that happens only when the audience thinks that you and your message is credible. In order to do so, you can take help of the following tips:

1. What message you want to convey to your audience : Irrespective of the audience you are about to address, like a sales pitch or a mock presentation for an interview or at school, or even at a much more public level where media etc is present, you must be sure of what message do you want to convey to your audience. This should not be misunderstood by the topic or issue you are presenting. The message you want to give to the audience should be clear in your head so that it is taken as it is by the audience.
2. Research: While you have time, research your topic very well because that helps you shape up your presentation in a more coherent manner that all scattered. Also, when you are presenting to an audience, there are bound to be members from the audience who know one fact better or more than you mentioned in your presentation; this detailing while; you have the time will help you save any embarrassment.
3. Presence: The word presentation contains the word ‘present’, which implies that when you are present at that place, you need to leave a mark and you need to make your presence felt. And you can only do that if you are confident, sure of yourself, mind your language, expression and body tone. It is just not just what you say, how you say it is equally important.
4. You speak your mind and heart: When we say that you should choose a topic, be sure of what you want to speak, it is not only important to be ready with apt data and content, but make sure you make up your mind about it. When you are up, presenting something to an audience, they should feel that everything you say is what you feel and you are not just reading out form the presentation or handouts.
5. Mode: When you make a presentation, it is very important to choose the right means and mode of your presentation carefully and intelligently. Using the right method to say what you want to is possible when you know your audience, so make sure you know who you are catering to. Using real case studies and stories to give out data is a smart choice.
6. Summarize: Even when you are presenting numbers and statistics to your audience, make sure that they do not feel loaded or bored with the heavy data. You can do so, by summarizing your points with a message or story yourself, or ask a few members of the audience to summarize one point each so that they feel alive and attentive.
